encounter with art was limited to a few public education classes. For 16 years, Joel honed his craft as a production potter at Silver Dollar City, delving into the mechanics of pottery and embracing the spirit of the  Ozarks. Now, on a solo expedition, he meticulously crafts his distinct glaze line with nods to the nature surrounding his life, while creating masterwork with surface modifications. Beyond the potter's wheel, his artistic pursuits extend to drawing, painting, and the emerging realm of sculpting.
